Beverly Elizabeth Black, 61, of Fountain City, passed away in her home on Saturday, November 9.
She was born on February 17, 1952 in Winchester to William H. and Norma J. McCarty Harris, both of whom preceded her in death.
Beverly worked in housekeeping before her employment at Disney Productions in Richmond and later at Keihin IPT Manufacturing in Greenfield. She was a member of the Fountain City Wesleyan Church, where she enjoyed Bible study. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed crocheting, swimming, and vacationing in Florida.
Beverly will be missed by her husband, Michael D. Black, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Tina Williams and Tim Williams; son & daughter-in-law, Michael D., Jr. and Elizabeth Black; granddaughters, Tiffany Williams, Lily Black and Ella Black; sister, Connie Conway; brothers, Billy Harris and Terry Harris.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, at the Fountain City Wesleyan Church, 5600 US 27 North, Richmond. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, at the Fountain City Wesleyan Church.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Fountain City Wesleyan Church or the Reid Foundation for Hospice Care.
