William A. âBillâ Fackson, 74, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15.
Bill was born in Richmond on September 10. 1942 to Luther Corwin and Jessie Lavonne Fansher Fackson, both of whom preceded him in death. He was a 1961 graduate of Richmond High School. He was a machinist and in 1987 became a supervisor at Parker-Hannifin and later was general foreman, a position he held for 15 years.
Bill was a member of the Druids. He enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts and cheering for Peyton Manning, as well as NASCAR and playing Texas Hold-em.
Bill will be missed by his wife, the former Nancy Ann Horner, who he married on March 4, 2005; daughter, Kimberly Ann (Jaycen) West; grandchildren, Jessica King, Stephen Lathrem, Cody Rice, Ashley and Lauryn West; four great-grandchildren; brother, Troy (Brenda) Fackson.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Vicki Lynn Fackson and son, William Todd Fackson.
Pastor David McQueen will celebrate Billâs life at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 19 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather from 11:00 amâ1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 19, at the funeral home.
