Mr. F. Robert “Bob” Frame, 99, passed away Monday, August 15, at Arbor Trace in Richmond.
He was born March 17, 1912, in Bloomingsport, Indiana, the son of Frank and Rachael Avice Johnson Frame. On March 17, 1934 he was united in marriage to Henrietta Fulks, a union which was blessed with three children. They shared 73 years together before her death on August 19, 2007. Mr. Frame lived most of his life in the Williamsburg community where he was a farmer. He made his last trip through the fields raking hay in the summer of 2008. He was a faithful member of the Williamsburg Church of the Nazarene, where he served in many capacities including superintendent and leading praise singing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered by many for his wry sense of humor.
Mr. Frame will be missed by his daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Filbert Horner, of Richmond; son and daughters-in-law, David and Joan Frame, and Vera Frame all of Williamsburg; 9 grandchildren, Neil Horner, Darla Chapman, Vernon Horner, Melvin Horner, Dean Frame, Dennis Frame, Deon Frame, Mindy Newton and Matthew Frame; 20 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Frame was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son Marvin Frame, on September 30, 2007; sisters, Elsie Williams, Bernice Lamb, Flossie Frame and Lena Kinsinger; brothers, Herschel Frame, Lawrence Frame, Denver Frame and Raymond Frame.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 19, at the Williamsburg Church of the Nazarene, 8503 Pleasant Street, Williamsburg. Interment will follow in Webster Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-8 pm on Thursday, August 18, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.
