Mrs. Carol Ann Williams, 75, of Whitewater, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 18 at Rosebud Village.
She was born in Wayne County, Indiana on April 7, 1941 to P. Benton and Nannie Powell Ketron. She was a 1959 graduate of Whitewater High School. Carol was united in marriage to Leslie âLesâ Williams on February 1, 1959. They were blessed with six children and 52 years of marriage before his death on May 27, 2011.
Carol was a member of Whitewater Christian Church. She worked as a cook for Northeastern Wayne Schools for many years, first at Whitewater and later at Northeastern High School. She also enjoyed cooking her familyâs favorite dishes for them and was always up for getting out with family and friends.
Carol will be missed by her daughters, Paula Gray, Pam Fulton, and Betsy (Tom) Temple; sons, Steve (Vicki) Williams, Tim Williams, and Mark (Heather) Williams; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son-in-law, Dwain Fulton; sister, Ruby Thompson; and brothers, Frank Ketron, Walter Ketron and Bob Ketron.
Pastor Troy Beckner will celebrate Carolâs life at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 in Fountain City. Interment will follow in Whitewater Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, at the funeral home.
