Carolyn Crawford

 Carolyn Sue Crawford, 85, of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Muncie.

 Carolyn was born on February 4, 1939, in Richmond, Indiana, she was the daughter of Bessie Lorain Hileman O’Neil. Her father, Emery Floyd O’Neil, preceded her in death before she was born.

 Carolyn attended Richmond High School and was a Winchester resident since 1979. She worked as a waitress for several years before later accepting a job at Wick’s Pies. She retired from Wick’s in 1996 after over 11 years of service. She enjoyed taking trips to go and gamble. 

 Carolyn will be missed by her daughter and caregiver, Sandy Scheiben, 29 grandchildren including her grandson and caregiver, Scott Rollins; and 13 great-grandchildren.

 Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of nearly 40 years, Phillip Crawford; sons, Jim Mangold, John Coyle and Randy Coyle; daughters, Vicky Sparks and Kathy Rollins; two sisters and two brothers.

 Visitation for Carolyn will be from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, January 27, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow in Union City Cemetery.
