Chris Burdge

   Chris Burdge, 37, of Fountain City, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, at his home. 
  He was born Christopher William Burdge in Connersville, Indiana on August 8, 1986 to William D. Burdge, Jr. and Sherry A. Burdge.
  Chris worked as a welder. He was a man of many talents who enjoyed drawing. He was skilled in auto mechanics and auto body repair as well as metal fabrication. He was his family’s go-to person for their mechanical and home maintenance needs.
  Chris will be missed by his daughter, Hailey Burdge; father, William D. Burdge, Jr.; mother & step-father, Sherry & Steven Spotts; sister & brother-in-law, Alisha & Darrel Roberts; half-sister, Makayla Spotts; step-sister, Jamie Philipson; step-brother, Earon Spotts; nieces, Jemma Hypes, Alexis Roberts, Peyton Roberts and Tiffany Roberts; aunts, uncles and cousins.
  Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Betty Manley and John Edward Purcell; paternal grandmother, Lena Burdge; and uncle, Leroy Burdge.
  No services are planned at this time.
  The Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, Fountain City, is assisting with arrangements.
