David H. Abrams, 67, of Fountain City, passed away Saturday, December 22, at Reid Hospital.
He was born March 21, 1945 in Richmond, Indiana to James and Thelma Argo Abrams. David was a mechanic for many years at Fred First Ford and later was manager of Complete Power Repair, where he retired. He enjoyed riding on his golf cart with his grandchildren and his companion, Scooter. He enjoyed working on cars and fishing.
David will be missed by his wife, Anita; daughter & son-in-law, Stephanie & Jonathan Burdsall, of Richmond; son & fiancée, Tim Abrams and Tammy Napier, of Pittsburg, Ohio; and son, Todd Abrams, of Pendleton; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Abrams, Colton Abrams, Treyton Burdsall and Kaleigh Abrams; sister, Sandy Tillery, of Elwood and half-sister, Shirley Beers, of Elwood.
David was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery.
Family & friends may gather for visitation from 12-2 p.m. Friday, December 28, at the funeral home.
