Debbie Ellison

   Debbie Ellison, 63, of Richmond, passed away on Monday, August 9.

   She was born Debbie Lynn Weiss on January 6, 1958 in Richmond, Indiana to Roy Elmer & Minnie Berneice Kidwell Weiss. Debbie was a 1977 graduate of Northeastern High School. She married Andy Ellison on December 30, 1985. They were blessed with two sons and nearly 27 years of marriage before his death on August 29, 2012. Debbie had worked since the age of 12. She was formerly employed at the Marathon Restaurant, Cox’s Supermarket and the Department of Welfare. Her favorite job was always that of homemaker.

   Debbie is survived by her sons, Jacob Ellison & his fiancée, Rachel Anders; and Damien Ellison.

   Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant sons, Roy Weiss II and Sonny Weiss.

   Debbie will be remembered in a funeral ceremony at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 14, at Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.

   Family & friends may gather for visitation from 10:00 am until noon on Saturday, August 14, at the funeral home.
