Mrs. Diana Kay Houser, 80, of Losantville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 29, at Ball Memorial Hospital in the presence of her family.
She was born July 29, 1930 in Losantville to Edgar J. & Grace R. Johnson Deady. She was a homemaker and retired from factory work. She was a 50-year member of Order of Eastern Star and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Houser will be missed by her daughter, Saundra Wilkison and her husband, Mark Brookbank, of Fountain City; son, Russell Houser, of Losantville; grandchildren, Brett Houser, Matt Wilkison and his wife, Christy, and Patrick Wilkison; 3 great-grandchildren, Betsy Wilkison, Bailey Wilkison and Isaac Wilkison; sister, Lenore "Susie" Peirce, of Hagerstown; brother, William J. Deady, of Losantville; sister-in-law, Jan Deady, of Losantville and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Houser was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilbur Houser and brother, Robert L. Deady.
An Order of Eastern Star memorial ceremony will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2, followed by a funeral ceremony conducted by Mort Radford at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Losantville.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, at the funeral home.
