Donald J. "Don" Toschlog

   Donald J. “Don” Toschlog, 82, of Richmond, passed away on Friday evening, December 29, at Reid Health.

   Don was born in Richmond on June 29, 1941 to David James and Pauline B. Sheffer Toschlog. Don graduated from Whitewater High School in 1959.

   Don was a lifelong farmer and was a faithful parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He formerly served on the Northeastern Wayne School Corp. Board of Trustees and was active in Young Farmers for many years. He formerly served in the Indiana National Guard. Don enjoyed traveling, sports and watching the activities of his children and grandchildren as they were growing up.

   Don will be missed by his daughter & son-in-law, Mary & Mike Catey; sons & daughters-in-law, Tim & Rhonda Toschlog; Mike & Ruth Toschlog; six grandchildren, Becca Catey, Nikolai Catey, Emma Catey, Kevin (Shanley) Toschlog, Megan (Joey) Nocton and Lynsey (Craig) Bracken; eight great-grandchildren, Parker, Ellis, Eli, Adi, Skyler, Noah, Colt and Lily; sister, Barb Hieger; brother & sister-in-law, Jim & Sally Toschlog; and several nieces and nephews.

   Don was preceded in death by his parents, friend and former wife, Carol E. Honious Toschlog; and grandson, Brent King.

   Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, at the Williamsburg Community Center, 8500 North Centerville Road in Williamsburg.

   A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.
