Mrs. Dorotha E. Rust, 91, of Fountain City, passed away on Sunday, January 14 at Reid Health.
She was born on May 23, 1926 in Farmland, Indiana to William and Mae Driver Fodrea.
Mrs. Rust was a homemaker and formerly worked at Paul Harris in Richmond. She had enjoyed quilting, knitting and making bears.
Mrs. Rust will be missed by her children, Sandy Chelf and her husband, Jim; Randy Rust and his wife, Christine; four grandchildren, Matt Rust, Joel Rust, Jennifer Davison and Craig Manor; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters.
Mrs. Rust was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chalmer Rust, in 1987; two great-grandchildren and ten brothers and sisters.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17 in Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are encouraged to the charitable organization of the donor’s choice.
