Doug Jones

   Mr. Douglas J. “Doug” Jones, 66, of Lynn, passed away on Friday morning, April 17, at his home in Lynn.

   Doug was born on June 19, 1953 in Winchester, Indiana to William J. & Dora I. Spicer Jones, both of whom preceded him in death.

   Doug was a graduate of Randolph Southern High School. He was a carpenter who could make anything with his own two hands. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his last conversation on this earth was doing just that. He also enjoyed golfing and was an IU fan.

   Doug is survived by his former wife of 40 years and mother of his children, Georgie Jones; his children, Melissa Ruble, Jason Beaty; grandchildren, Dillon Beaty, Alissa Ruble; sister & brother-in-law, Karen & Richard Gray.

   Doug’s wishes were to be cremated.
