Dylan Sprouse

   James Dylan Sprouse, 32, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, July 28.

   He was born in Richmond, Indiana on December 29, 1990, to James Rodney Sprouse and Kelly F. Godwin.

   Dylan was a 2009 graduate of Northeastern High School, where he excelled as a player on the varsity football team. He attended Purdue University, Marian University and IU East. Dylan was a talented artist and enjoyed writing and producing his own music.  

   Dylan will be missed by parents, Rod Sprouse and Kelly Godwin; daughters, Amira and Gracie; sisters, Amanda Weaver and Hailey Sprouse; brother, Joshua Ryan Sprouse; aunt & uncle, Shannon & Greg Mechan and their daughters, Sarah and Emily; paternal grandparents, Jim & Lana Sprouse; maternal grandmother, Carole Godwin; aunt, Jennifer Carpenter and cousins, Justin Godwin, Kiersten Carpenter and Austin Carpenter.

   Dylan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Stephen Godwin.

   Family and friends are encouraged to join the family at the Fountain City Park from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2 for a memorial and time of celebration of Dylan’s life.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged for a fund to be established for Amira. Details are pending at this time.
