Edna Mae Miller, 84, of Williamsburg, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014.
She was born October 2, 1929 in Randolph County to Charles and Lenora Baldwin Cox, who preceded her in death. She married Lawrence R. Miller on July 1, 1946. They shared 58 years of marriage until his death on Nov. 4, 2004.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the Williamsburg Church of the Nazarene. She had retired from Hillâs Floral after 20 years of service.
Mrs. Miller will be missed by her daughters, Carolyn (Rick) Kaucher, Marleen (Jim) Cates, Janet Gaston, Donna Webster, Sharon (Sam) Evans, Deborah Miller; sons, Larry (Vickie) Miller and Earl (Chrissy) Miller; 24 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; sister, Jewell Luke; and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 10, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, at the funeral home.
