Esther Williams

   Esther Williams, 87, of Lynn, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

   She was born Esther Oneita Bowers on October 8, 1935 in Arlington, Ohio to Paul E. & Olive Esther Seibel Bowers.

   Esther was a graduate of Richmond High School. She worked as a bank teller for the Second National Bank and US Bank, retiring after 50 years of service. She was a faithful member of the First Church of Christ in Lynn, where she sang in the choir, directed the youth choir and taught Sunday School. She was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and attended Opening Day for over 50 years.

   Esther is survived by her children, Dennis Williams, Dyan Gentilcore, David Williams, Jason Williams; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother, Royce “Butch” Bowers.

   Esther was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wayne Williams; daughter, Debra Misner; and four brothers.

   Esther requested that no services be held following her death.

   Memorial contributions are encouraged for the charitable organization of the donor’s choice.
