Frances Aileen âFannieâ Hill, 90, of Lynn, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 30, at Sterling House in Richmond.
She was born on May 11, 1924 in Randolph County to Herschel M. and Catherine Baker Gray. She was a graduate of Anderson Beauty College. She formerly worked as a cook at Spartanburg High School and Randolph Southern School and was an active homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Spartanburg Christian Church.
Fannie will be missed by her daughter, Kathy E. Hill; son, Terry C. Hill and his wife, Betty; grandson, Christopher Roberge and his wife, Sheri; four great-grandchildren, James, Nicole, Daniel and Jonathon; niece, Vicky Birner and her husband, Don; other nieces & nephews; great-nephews, Craig and Nicholas Birner.
Fannie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, Jerald Hill; grandson, David Roberge and her brother, Estel Gray.
Pastor Brian Richmond will conduct a funeral ceremony at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Spartanburg Cemetery.
Family & friends may gather for visitation from 11:00 a.m. â 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, at the funeral home.
