Mrs. Freda Hall, 89, of Williamsburg, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 16 at the home of her daughter.
   She was born July 25, 1922 in Williamsburg to Robert and Emily Johnson Duke. She was united in marriage to Glen Hall on July 17, 1944. They were blessed with 2 children and 60 years of marriage before his death on February 23, 2005.
   Mrs. Hall briefly worked at Perfect Circle during World War Two. She later took a job on the line at Belden, working there until her retirement. She was a member of the former Williamsburg United Methodist Church and was a Past Matron of the former Williamsburg Chapter #225, Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of Fountain City Chapter #552, Order of Eastern Star with over 50 years membership in OES.
   Mrs. Hall will be missed by her daughter & son-in-law, Tonya & David Sparks, of Hagerstown; son & daughter-in-law, Dana & Carolyn Hall, of Williamsburg; 2 grandchildren, SGT Cyle Sparks, serving in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; and Kristin (John) Harris, of Connersville; 3 step-grandchildren, Stacie Powell, Angela Wilson and Tipton Powell; 4 great-grandchildren, Braden Himelick, Jaden Harris, Tyler Sparks and Ashley Sparks; 5 step-great-grandchildren, Emma Harris, Derick Wilson, Makenzie Wilson, Dusty Campbell and Hannah Campbell; 2 sisters and best friends, Martha (Gilford) Snapp, of Williamsburg and Nancy Durbin, of Cambridge City; and several nieces & nephews.
   Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Erin Sparks; sisters, Ellen Paul and Kay Duke; and brother, Shirley Duke.
   An Order of Eastern Star memorial ceremony will begin at 1:00 pm with a funeral ceremony immediately following on Saturday, January 21, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery.
   Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 21, at the funeral home.
