Ilberto Pacheco

Mr. Ilberto Manuel DaSilva Pacheco, 55, formerly of the Fountain City area, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 15, in Coldwater, Ohio.


Born January 5, 1955 in Portugal, he was the son of Anthony and Lena DaSilva Pacheco, both of whom preceded him in death. He was raised in the Catholic faith and immigrated to the United States at age 13. Ilberto was employed at Cooper Farms in St. Henry, Ohio. In his spare time he enjoyed watching television, particularly news and political programs.


Ilberto will be missed by his wife, the former Linda Spicer, to whom he was married on February 14, 1986; his son, Ilberto Spicer, of Richmond; 4 daughters, Jennifer Chamness and her husband, Bill, and Joyce Pacheco, all of Richmond; Heidi and Laura Pacheco, both of New Weston, OH; 4 grandchildren, Neco Chamness, Demetrius Chamness, Trenton Spicer and Austin Pacheco.


A funeral ceremony was conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment was in Willow Grove Cemetery.
