Jerry Snyder

   Jerry Leroy Snyder, 86, of Lynn, passed away on Saturday, September 9.

   He was born in Winchester, Indiana on September 7, 1937, to Lloyd Leroy & Zella V. Moore Snyder, both of whom preceded him in death. He was a 1955 graduate of Lynn High School. He served in the US Army at El Paso, Texas from 1958-62.

   Jerry Returned home from the Army and married the former Lois Ann Pelton on March 2, 1962. They lived in the Lynn and Spartanburg area. He worked at the former Spartan Casket, Modoc Casket and later worked at Astral Industries until his retirement in 1999.

   Jerry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lois; sons, Tim Snyder & wife, Kathy; Darren Snyder and Ted Snyder; grandchildren, Brandi Snyder (Michael), TJ Snyder (Amanda), Heather Snyder; great-grandchildren, Myles Mayberry and Kyler Snyder.

   A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15 in Spartanburg Cemetery.

   Memorial contributions are encouraged for the charitable organization of the donor's choice.
