Jimmy Snowden

Jimmy Snowden, 67, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5.
   Jimmy was born in Estill County, Kentucky on June 8, 1950 to Everett and Lucy Stamper Snowden, both of whom preceded him in death. He was a factory worker most of his life, with much of that time spent with Amedco Stamping Company. He enjoyed working on cars.
   Jimmy will be missed by his daughter & son-in-law, Sharon & Charlie Webb; son, Ricky Lee Snowden; step daughters & sons-in-law, Connie & Mark Smith and Linda & Alan Lahmann, Jr.; step son & daughter-in-law, Steve & Kathy Bowman; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, John & Alberta Snowden; sisters-in-law, Donetta Snowden and Beverly Snowden; and several nieces & nephews.
   Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Christal Snowden, on January 6, 2008; daughters, Sharon Snowden and Kathy Snowden; step-grandson, Johnathan Lahmann; brothers, Frank Snowden, Bill Snowden, Arlis Snowden and Wendell Snowden; and sisters-in-law, Frances Snowden and Lois Snowden.
   Jimmy’s life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9 at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery.
   Family and friends may gather from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, January 8, at the funeral home.
