Mrs. B. Joan Renyer, 79, of Richmond, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, October 22.
    She was born June 14, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan to Fred and Lena Kelch Dodds. She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy. She worked most of her life as a bookkeeper, first with Miles-Richmond in Liberty for 33 years and later with Glassworks for 5 years. She served in the Centerville High School cafeteria until her retirement. She had served the past 20 years as bookkeeper of Moose Lodge #167, of which she was a member. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Richmond and was always willing to help others who were in need.
   Mrs. Renyer will be missed by her husband of 59 years, Donald J. Renyer, Sr.; sons & daughters-in-law, Donald, Jr. & Betsy Renyer, of Brandenburg, KY and Dave & Kim Renyer, of Fountain City; 5 grandchildren, Donald Chester Renyer, Amanda Goble, Mindy Pugh, Sara Renyer and Kathryn Renyer, and 6 great-grandchildren.
   Mrs. Renyer was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Mary Geisler and Betty Dodds; and 1 brother, Fred Dodds.
   Deacon Jim Miller will conduct a funeral ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery in Oxford, Ohio.
   Family & friends may gather from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, October 26, at the funeral home.
