Mrs. Joann Schuerman, 83, of Williamsburg, passed away on Sunday, September 16 at her residence.
She was born on July 24, 1935 in Richmond, Indiana to Ralph and Mary Barnard. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Richmond. She was retired from the former Coxâs Supermarket after 21 years as a cashier. She enjoyed music, horses and rodeos.
Mrs. Schuerman is survived by her sons, Michael Baker and Jeff Baker; step-children, Darlene Doerflein, Deanna Schuerman, Delisa Schroeder, Darrel Schuerman and Dean Schuerman; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Schuerman was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Duane Schuerman, son, Pat Baker and step-son, David Schuerman.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Larry Perry at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 21, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 12:00â1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 21, at the funeral home.
