Joseph L. "Mose" Tutterrow

On Sunday, January 22, 2017, Joseph Loren “Mose” Tutterrow passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family.
   He was born on August 11, 1939 to Eblen Andrew Tutterrow and Lorene Polston Tutterrow. He graduated from Webster High School in 1958 and was drafted into the Army in 1962. In 1965 he married Carolyn Frazer and together they share 3 sons.
   He worked for Dana Corporation as a millwright for 37 years and upon retirement opened his family business, Tutterrow’s Garage. Mose was an active member of the Webster United Methodist Church. He also served as an active member in his community, a member of the Webster Township Advisory board and one of several men who established the Webster Fire Department and served as a charter member for 35 years. Mose was a founding member of the Vintage Wheels car club.
   Mose is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Leon Tutterrow. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Carolyn; sons, Joe (Brenda) Tutterrow, Doug (Candi) Tutterrow, and James Tutterrow; grandchildren, Kyle (Lindsey) Griffith, Mikala Tutterrow, and Faith Walters; great-grandchildren, Mason, Jordan, and Audrey; a sister Nettie Maude Cox and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  
   Memorial contributions may be made to the Webster United Methodist Church, PO Box 8, Webster, IN 47392 or to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospice, 2401 West University Ave., Muncie, IN 47303.
   Viewing will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. and the funeral service will be held on Saturday January 28, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home in Fountain City.
