Joseph Zuckerman

Joseph Ben Zuckerman, 44, formerly of Saratoga Springs, died suddenly at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana at 12:25 a.m. on Sunday morning (August 22, 2010).


Born on Oct. 11, 1965 in Vicenza, Italy, he is a son of Nuala Zuckerman of Gansevoort, NY and Jack & Monna Zuckerman of Saratoga Springs, NY.


In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Michele (Robinson) Zuckerman, Fountain City; his children, Daniel Zuckerman (age 17), Dara Zuckerman (age 16), Hannah Zuckerman (age 13) and Noah Zuckerman (age 8), all of Fountain City; his sisters, Lea Osborne, Saratoga Springs, NY and Ursula (Geoffrey) Hall, Niskayuna, NY; his brother, David Zuckerman, Saratoga Springs, NY; his grandmother, Mary Lawlor, London, England; an uncle, Michael (Christine) Lawlor, North Carolina; his parents-in-law, Richard and Susan Robinson, Malta, NY; sisters-in-law, Denise (Scott) Berry and Jennifer (Mark) Butler of Indiana and many nieces and nephews from New York and Indiana.

Joe began his work career working for his father at their family business "Games People Play". He won multiple awards and honors for his management skills throughout his work career and most recently was hired by Comcast Telecommunications in Indiana, where the family had moved to be close to Michele's sisters. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid fan of "Mafia Wars" on Facebook.


The funeral service will be conducted at 10:30am Thursday (Aug. 26, 2010) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 584-5373. Burial will follow at Temple Sinai Cemetery, Moreau, NY.


Kaddish will be at 6pm Friday evening at Temple Sinai, 509 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY (518-584-8730).


The family will observe Shiva at 7pm Thursday evening, 8pm Saturday and 7pm Sunday evening at their residence, 120 Meadowbrook Road, Saratoga Springs, NY.
