Mrs. Joyce H. Crull, 90, of Williamsburg, passed away on Saturday, February 24 at Arbor Trace in Richmond.
She was born on September 29, 1927 in Winchester, Indiana to Russell and Mabel Hinshaw.
Mrs. Crull worked several years as the secretary at Williamsburg Elevator, which she owned with her husband. She later was secretary at Alpha Water in Fountain City before going to work at the Indiana Football Hall of Fame. She also operated her own business making wedding cakes for generations of newlyweds. She also worked hard at giving back, working alongside Bill with the Williamsburg Lions Club from its founding in 1957; as a 4-H leader for many years and as a member of the Liberty Belles Home-Ec Club in the Williamsburg community. She was an avid gardener and a member of Williamsburg Friends Meeting.
Mrs. Crull will be missed by her daughter, Patricia Crull; sons, Mike Crull; Timothy Crull and his wife, Anita; grandchildren, Chad Crull, Brandi Farmer (Jeremy) and Todd Crull (Jill); great-grandchildren, Marti Rae Crull, Noah Federico, Cassie Federico, Zane Farmer, Sophia Farmer, Heather Crull, Olivia Crull, James Crull, Zack Crull and William Crull; great-great-grandchildren, Catarina and Lillian.
Mrs. Crull was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William âBillâ Crull, and daughter-in-law, Sharon Crull.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, in Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, March 2, at the funeral home.
