Mrs. Juanita P. Davis, 79, of Fountain City, passed away at 8:19 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at Reid Hospital.
She was born May 22, 1932 in Bloomingport, Indiana to James, Sr. and Josephine Stover Abbott.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of the Fountain City Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed solving word-search puzzles, listening to Gospel music and sunbathing. She was also known for the cow kisses she would give.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Cathie & Fred Balbo, of Edwardsburg, Michigan; Penny and Brian Christman, of Vevay and Kim & David Frame, of Roanoke, Virginia; son & daughter-in-law, Mike & Kathy Davis, of Bradenton, Florida; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James E. Davis, on September 24, 2007; sisters, Joan Moore and Margaret Engle; brothers, James Abbott, Jr., Bud Abbott and Al Abbott.
A special âThank youâ goes to Jackie Vantile, Bert & Ed Snyder and Roxanne Engle for the care and concern they showed toward Mrs. Davis.
The family will observe a private graveside service.
