Justin Farmer, 50, of Fountain City, passed away at 12:22 a.m. on Saturday morning, March 25.
Justin was born in Richmond, Indiana on May 30, 1970 to John R. “Jack” Farmer and Sarah Brown. He was a 1991 graduate of Centerville High School. Justin served in the US Army from 1991-94. He later attended IU East for 4 years, where he studied Clinical Psychology.
Justin was a longtime fixture at the Mini-Mart in Fountain City. He was known for his sarcasm and dry sense of humor. He had no filter and possessed the uncanny ability to call anyone out at any time for anything. He loved animals more than people. He still loved people, though he would often try to hide that fact. These are just some of the reasons why he was loved and appreciated by so many. Justin was also an avid connoisseur of Marvel Comics and loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Justin will be missed by his mother, Sarah Brown; step-mother, Joyce Farmer; his very special Aunt, Jan Statzer; sisters, Sarah (Jason) Sparks and Pam (Luke) Tidrow; brother, Ty (Teresa) Farmer; special cousins, Jie (Ami) Miller and Jackie (Shane) Shroyer; special friends, Tobey Gilmore and Aron Tutt; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his Mini-Mart family & friends.
Justin was preceded in death by his father, Jack Farmer; maternal grandmother, Ethel Brown; paternal grandparents, Max & Ethel Farmer; cousins, Larry “Grub” Riley and Seara Burton; special friend, Jan Clements; and his faithful canine counterpart, Gia.
