   Kurt A. Whitesel, 74, of Lynn, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, at Reid Health.

   He was born in Union City, Indiana on November 11, 1949 to Jack E. & Margaret E. Elliott Whitesel. Kurt was a 1968 graduate of Union City Community High School and a graduate of Purdue University.

   Kurt was a retired cattle farmer. He was a livestock feed salesman with MoorMan’s-ADM Animal Nutrition for over 50 years. He was an avid fan of Purdue University Basketball. Boiler Up!

   Kurt will be missed by his wife, the former Rose Naylor; daughter & son-in-law, Shelly & Mark Stambush; son & daughter-in-law, Brad & Randi Whitesel step-sons & daughters-in-law, Tim & Carrie Naylor and Dave & Kris Naylor; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Kelly & Cassie Whitesel; brother-in-law, Larry Curts.

   Kurt was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jackie Curts.

   Family and friends are encouraged to gather for a visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.

   A Celebration of Kurt’s life will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged for the Lynn Friends Church, PO Box 334, Lynn, IN 47355.
