Larry Stone, Sr.

   Mr. Larry A. Stone, Sr., 70, of Richmond, passed away on Sunday, June 7, at Reid Health.

   Larry was born on December 23, 1949 in Middlebury, Vermont to Ernest Russell and Mildred Violet Rivers Stone. He was a US Navy veteran.

   Larry loved life, his children and his grandchildren. Even in his toughest times, he could make others laugh. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He was a loyal, helpful friend and enjoyed eating at Golden Corral and drinking his Senior Coffee from his friends on the crew of Richmond’s East Main Street McDonald’s.

   Larry is survived by his daughters, Rachel Emond, Amy Myers & husband, Joseph, Shannon Stone, Heather Stone, Jacqueline Stikeleather & husband, Jachob; sons, Larry Stone, Jr. & wife, Kimberley, Michael Stone & wife, Tammy, Brandon Stone; 21 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brothers, Bob Stone, Ernie Stone, Archie Stone, Paul Taylor and Donnie Stone.

   Larry was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Gloria Belden and brother, Ronnie Stone.

   Larry’s wishes were to be cremated, with his family holding a private celebration of his life.
