Linda Lacey

 Linda J. Lacey, 76, of Williamsburg, died peacefully at Rosebud Village on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She was born February 14, 1949, in Winchester, Indiana. She lived most of her life in Fountain City and was a 1968 graduate of Northeastern High School. She formerly worked for Hills Roses. Linda loved to Craft and make Teddy Bears to give away. She formerly was a member of the Fountain City United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed making holiday peanut brittle with her church family. She later was a member of the Williamsburg Church of the Nazarene, where she loved to sing during worship and help with the annual Trunk-or-Treat at Halloween. 

Linda will be missed by her sisters, Diana & Jim George, Gale Block, Nora & Tom Bales, and Rhoda & Mike Rapp; brother, Charles W. Creech, Jr.; and several nieces & nephews.

 Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles William Creech Sr. & Catherine Creech; her mother, Marcella Boggs; her husband of 44 years, Leroy Lacey, in 2014; sister, Loretta Boggs; brothers, James Creech and Anthony Creech; and sister-in-law, Paula Creech. A celebration of life will be conducted by Pastor Doug Shilts at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2 at the Williamsburg Church of the Nazarene, 8503 Pleasant Street, Williamsburg.
