Liz Nicholson

   Elizabeth J. Nicholson, 80, formerly of Fountain City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 27, in the comfort of her home with her children and family by her side.

   Liz was born in Wayne County, Indiana on January 3, 1941 to Bernard Eugene & Ruth Louise Gaddis Fulks. She was a 1959 graduate of Fountain City High School.
   Liz worked as the office manager for Drs. Deitsch and Royer for 35 years. She served on the Fountain City Town Council for 10 years and was its first female president. She was a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority for 26 years.

   Liz could always be found in attendance watching her children Kim’s and Kevin’s activities when they were growing up and enjoyed watching her grandson Kaler’s activities as he was growing up.

   Liz will be missed by her daughter, Kim Gordon & husband, Joe; son, Kevin Nicholson & wife, Susan; grandson, Kaler Nicholson & wife, Alexis; sisters, Carolyn Jeanes and Judy Baker & her husband, Mike; brother, Max Fulks & wife, Merilou; and nieces & nephews.
   Liz was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Linda Owens; brother, Eugene “Doc” Fulks; and brother-in-law, Pete Jeanes.
   At Liz’s request, no formal services will be held.
