Lora Louise Lilly

   Lora L. Lilly, 81, of Richmond, formerly of Lynn, passed away on Tuesday, February 6 at Ambassador Healthcare.

   Born March 11, 1942 in Richmond, she was the daughter of Clarence Clayton & Wilma Louise Brown Underwood.

   Lora was a 1960 graduate of Webster High School, where she was the Valedictorian of her 8-student class. Lora worked at PRC Recording Company, Wayne Corporation, Master Brand, and Walmart Pharmacy. Lora enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her children, grandchildren and keeping up with her friends on Facebook. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going to musicals and plays, watching her favorite TV shows and crocheting.

   Lora will be missed by her children, Scott (Lana) Gregory, Dawn (Derek) Weiss; grandchildren, Cassidy Weiss, Cody Weiss, Josh (Hope) Gregory, Courtney (Chris) Diercks and Josh (Dimetra) Rogers; great-grandchildren, Will and Scarlett Rogers; her late husband David Lilly’s children, Donald (Ledessa) Lilly; Melissa (Andy) Spillers; Jennifer (Bob) Matheny; Aimee (Jason) Brumfield; Aaron Lilly; sister, Maggie (Dennis) Eley; niece, Denise (Ryan) Brandenburg and nephew, Craig Eley; sister-in-Law, Carole (Richard) Loxley; special friends, Julie (Jerry) Johnson; as well as many other family members, friends, and former co-workers.

   Lora was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 16 years, David Lilly, in 2018.

   Services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.

   Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, February 12, at the funeral home.

   Memorial donations are encouraged for the charitable organization of the donor’s choice.
