Mrs. Marjorie Juerling, 92, of Richmond, passed away on Saturday, December 2 at Ambassador Healthcare.
She was born on May 17, 1925 in Union County, Indiana to Roy and Thelma Kuhlman Alvey. She was a graduate of Fountain City High School.
Mrs. Juerling was a bookkeeper at Wayne Corp. She was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of the Druids and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed gambling and playing cards.
Mrs. Juerling will be missed by her daughters, Paula Thomas; Linda Juerling and her husband, Mark Horigan; and Candus Horigan and her husband, Todd; sons, James Douglas Juerling; Stanley Juerling and his wife, Margaret; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, brother, Darrell Alvey and his wife, Dana, and several nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Juerling was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul F. Juerling, in 1987, two sisters and one brother.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7 in Willow Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.
