Mark Stamper, 51, of Williamsburg, passed away on Sunday, April 6.
He was born on June 5, 1962 in Winchester to Ralph and Roberta Wilcox Stamper and attended Northeastern High School. Mark was an avid horse trader and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a proud family man who loved his grandkids. Mark had a warm heart and never met a stranger. He served on the board of the Williamsburg Community Center.
Mark will be missed by his wife, Lisa, who he married 29 years ago on June 8, 1985; sons, Gabriel and Thomas Stamper; mother, Roberta Vaughn; sisters, Toni & Matt Lizak and Dawn & Steve Alyea; Julie Thomas and Sandy Spencer; brother, Jimmy Winters; grandchildren, Shaylee, Julian and Gabe Jr.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Ralph, in 2008.
Pastor David Anderson will conduct a funeral ceremony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, at the Williamsburg Community Center, 8441 Centerville Road North, Williamsburg, where visitation will be from 4-7 p.m.
