Mary L. Elliott, 81, of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, January 25 at Reid Health in Richmond.
Born February 22, 1936 in Richmond, Indiana, she was the daughter of Robert Samuel and Mary L. Grubbs Wilson.
Mrs. Elliott was raised in Madison, Indiana. She was a U.S. Air Force veteran. She spent much of her life living between Florida and Indiana, volunteering thousands of hours at hospitals in both states. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting afghans.
Mrs. Elliott is survived by four children, Larry Brown and his wife, Charmaine, Terri Kouns, Michelle Kitelinger and her husband, Edwin, and Michael Elliott; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one sister, Margaret Scales.
Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Elliottâs life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 29, in the Earlham Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 1101 National Road West in Richmond. Interment with military rites will follow in the Earlham Cemetery Veterans Field of Honor.
Visitation is one hour prior to services in the Earlham Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.
