Mona Nash

   Mrs. Mona Nash, 71, of Richmond, passed away on Sunday, May 29, at Reid Health.

   She was born July 31, 1951, in Richmond, Indiana to Ovid D. & Lola I. Mock Brown. She married Wayne Nash on February 20, 1977.

   Mona lived most of her life in Fountain City. She was a 1969 graduate of Northeastern High School. She later attended Cincinnati Christian University, IU East and earned an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. She was a homemaker and was formerly employed by the BMV and WorkOne as a clerk. She also formerly worked as a Paralegal for Judge Shane Edington.

   Mona enjoyed crocheting, wood carving, needlepoint and reading mysteries. She sang with the Wayfinders for many years and was a member of the Crosspoint Baptist Church.

   Mona will be missed by her husband of 46 years, Wayne Nash; daughter, Misty Nash & her fiancé, Mike Miller, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

   Mona was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Sandy Thomas and Angela Campbell; brother, Fred Brown nephews, Barry Brown and Nickolas Brown.

   Mona’s request was that no public service be observed.
