Norma J. Fleming, 76, of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2014, in the presence of family.
Norma was born on May 10, 1938 in Philomath, Indiana to John E. and Ida M. Shipman Wickett. She was a 1956 graduate of Webster High School and Indiana Business College. She married James L. Fleming on March 11, 1960, a union which was blessed with three children.
Norma was a homemaker who always enjoyed her role as a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed a lifetime of farming, gardening, canning, growing flowers and reading.
Norma will be missed by her husband, James; daughters, Debby Esarey and her husband, Steve; and Teresa Reynolds; son, Mike Fleming; daughter-in-law, Lori Fleming; grandchildren, Derik Fleming I and his wife, Alicia, Ryan Reynolds, Lucas Fleming and his wife, Jenny, and JJ Fleming; great-grandchildren, Derik Fleming II, Allie Fleming and Mason Pedigo; and a brother, Jack Wickett.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Amanda Reynolds, and two brothers, Dick and Sam Wickett.
Private services will be observed at the convenience of her family. Entombment will be in Earlham Mausoleum in Richmond.
