Mrs. Paralee Martin, 92, of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, August 26, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born February 2, 1920, in Winchester, Kentucky to Elijah and America Fletcher Fox. She lived in the Williamsburg area most of her life, where she and her husband, Albert âDickâ Martin, Jr. raised their 8 children. Paralee was a loving mother and wife who devoted her life to her family. She attended Ministries Of The Lamb.
Paralee will be missed by her daughters, Pam Sowers, of Fountain City; Sharon Parrish, of Fountain City; sons, William Martin, of Fountain City; Jerry Martin, of Williamsburg; Mike Martin, of Palm Coast, Florida; Tony Martin, of Williamsburg; 26 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Paralee was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Joan Donovan; son, Jerald Martin; grandson, Doug Robbins; sisters, Golden Parker, Alma Johnson, Marie Conner, Mossie Orsborn, brothers; Henderson Fox, Arvil Fox, Arvis Fox, Eugene Fox and Cecil Fox.
Broc Robbins will conduct a funeral ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in New Garden Cemetery.
Family & friends may gather from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28 at the funeral home.
