Roy E. Fisher, 82, of Williamsburg, passed away on Thursday, March 22 at Reid Health.
Roy was born on November 4, 1935 in Frankton, Indiana to William E. and Nellie M. Henry Fisher.
Roy was retired after a career as a mechanic. He was a member of Crossway Church and enjoyed woodworking, drawing and being a âJack-of-all-trades and master of noneâ.
Roy will be missed by his wife, the former Sandy Bales, whom he married on September 3, 1966; daughter & son-in-law, Cindy Lynn & Daryl Paul; son & daughter-in-law, David, Sr. & Angie Fisher; grandchildren, Samantha (David) Comiso, April (Brandon) Hicks, David Fisher, Jr., Zach Paul, Sara Paul and Sierra Paul; great-grandchildren, Caleb âLub Lubâ, Avery, Donte, Vena, Jade and Domnic; sister & brother-in-law, Carolyn & Donald Slaven.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Dorothy L. Tomey; brother, Harold E. Fisher.
Royâs life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery near Greens Fork.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, at the funeral home.
