Sharon Lee McClain, 71, of Greens Fork, passed away on Monday, February 19 at Reid Health.
Born October 1, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Andrew and Helen Lipscomb Simpson Bryant.
Sharon worked for many years as a beautician. She enjoyed spoiling her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and loved her dogs. She also enjoyed going to the casino.
Sharon will be missed by her husband of 51 years, Duane McClain; step-father, Walter Bryant; sisters, Peg Hachman and her husband, Stuart, Sally Burton and her husband, Robert; brothers, Johnny Simpson, Timothy Bryant and Dennis Bryant; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ricky Simpson and Tommy Simpson.
Sharon’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 23, at the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City, with Rev. Ken Wooden officiating. Interment will follow in Webster Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12-2 pm on Friday, February 23, at the funeral home.
