Theodore “Ted” Yandl, 56, of Williamsburg, passed away on March 14th, 2025. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on October 21st, 1968 to Larry A. and Saralee (Sally) Lehman Yandl. He was a 1987 graduate of Northeastern High School.
A skilled welder by trade, Ted took great pride in his craftsmanship, working for many of the local casket companies in Wayne and Randolph County.
Ted enjoyed being outside either fishing or riding around on his lawnmower. He also enjoyed watching Motocross races, and was a devoted fan of NASCAR, never missing a Sunday race.
Ted was a son, father, brother, uncle and friend, and his presence will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Sally, son, Jared Yandl and his mother Greta Seward; brothers Tim Yandl (Angela) and Terry Yandl (Johna); Nieces and nephews, Kristen Crawley (Ryan), Kelly Cook (Jackson), Jesse Yandl (Hailey), Eric Yandl (Jenna), Amber Yandl (Aaron), and Anthoney Yandl (Ryanne), and many great nieces and nephews and extended family.
Ted was preceded in death by his father, Larry Yandl, in 2020.
Ted’s family will hold a private service, followed by interment in Webster Cemetery.
Rest easy, Ted—may the lakes always be full, the engines always roar, and the welds always hold strong.
