Tim Anderson, 61, of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, with his family close by.
He was born on November 2, 1952 in Winchester to Terrence and Eileen Beard Anderson. He graduated from Northeastern High School in 1971. Tim worked at Wayne Works in Richmond until the plant closed, after which he spent most of his time working in Tennessee before returning to his roots a couple of years ago. Tim enjoyed sharing his love of country blues and bluegrass music through his guitar.
Tim will be missed by his daughter, Kim Anderson; son, Bryan Anderson and his wife, Heather Frerichs; grandchildren, Malaya, Hana, Layne and Ian; step-daughter, Kristal Drew; step-son, Paul Michael Keeton; sisters, Sharon Adams and her husband, Randy; Shelly Fischer and her husband, Larry; Susan Turner; brothers, Ted Anderson and his wife, Barb; Terry Anderson and his wife, Peggy; brother-in-law, Rod Turner; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Hazel.
A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
