Timothy Lee Hoober, 60, of Fountain City, passed away on Sunday, March 22.
   Tim was born on July 27, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Kenneth and Oneda Mosier Hoober. He married the former Sharon Smith on October 12, 1974.
   Tim was retired from Dana Corporation after 30 years of service in the machining plant. He later drove a school bus for Richmond Community Schools for 5 years and was currently employed with Tom Raper RVs. A gentleman farmer, he enjoyed living on his farm in a house he built himself, utilizing his love of woodworking. He loved all kinds of animals and working with kids. He put these interests to good use when he was active in 4-H sheep activities.
   Tim will be missed by his wife, Sharon; son, Justin Hoober and his companion, Jenny Weadick; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Christopher, Bryson, Vivian and Julian; sisters, Florence (Ralph) Weist, Peg (Jim) LeVault, Joyce (Furman) Bagwell and Jackie (Garry) Kincaid; brothers, Mike (Nancy) Hoober and Terry (Vicki) Hoober; sister-in-law, Mary Hoober and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
   Tim was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gordon Hoober.
   Pastor David Anderson will conduct a funeral ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, in the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City.
   Family & friends may gather for visitation from 4-8 pm on Thursday, March 26, at the funeral home.
   In honor of Tim’s parents and others in his family who have been lost to cancer, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
