Mrs. Wanda Hartman, 66, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, August 21.
She was born June 26, 1947 in Corbin, KY to Alvie and Lucille Kelley Green.
Wanda owned & operated Wandaâs Beauty Salon for many years before her retirement. She was a member of the First Southern Missionary Baptist Church and Rock Solid Ministry. Wanda enjoyed her time playing Bingo and collected toothpick holders.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Donald Hartman, of Richmond; step-sons, Mark Stamps, Bowling green, KY; Brian Hartman, Greenfield; Larry Hartman, California; step-daughters, Jane Blevins, and Pam Tibbot, both of Richmond; Beverly Wilburn, Shirley; sisters, Kay Michael Dwayne) Yoder, Omaha, NE and Elaine (Jerry) Longworth, Richmond; uncle and aunt, Kenneth and Molly Kelley, Corbin, KY; niece, Amy (Jason) Young, Kokomo; great-nephew, Nolan Young, Kokomo; Cousins, Phil Boomershine and Cheryl Powell; special friends, Brenda Stover, David Faucett, Doris Ward, Charlotte Baker, Sheri Porfidio, Betty Townsend, Ruth Ann Parks and her beloved cat, Clifford.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harry Edward Green.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted by David Eales at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from Noon-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, at the funeral home.
