Wayne L. Prinkey, Sr.

   Wayne L. Prinkey, Sr., 65, of Richmond, passed away on Monday, June 12.

   He was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on December 14, 1957 to Carlton Kermit & Mary Kathryn Livingston Prinkey, both of whom preceded him in death. Wayne earned an Associate Degree from Hillsborough Community College. He worked as a Pharmacy Technician at the Wal-Mart Pharmacy and later at Reid Health before retiring. After retiring, he worked part-time at Kroger gas station.

   Wayne enjoyed watching Westerns and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Detroit Tigers. He loved spending time with his family.

   Wayne will be missed by his wife of 26 years, Nancy Claire Prinkey; daughter, Mary Claire Prinkey, son, Wayne L. “Chip” Prinkey, Jr; brother & sister-in-law, Scott & Nancy Prinkey; nephew, Ryan Prinkey & wife, Cari; and great-nieces, Elizabeth and Alexandra.

   No public services are planned.
